Hello, and thank you for visiting my website.  My name is Jessica Farber, Psy.D., and I am a licensed psychologist  (PSY 22360) in the state of California.  I am in private practice and I am affiliated with the Christian Counseling Center of San Jose.

Are you struggling with family issues, symptoms of anxiety or depression, or a major life change?  My philosophy for therapy includes an individualized approach based on your unique strengths, needs and goals.  My approach is holistic, integrating symptom reduction, physical health, relationships, and spiritual growth.   I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Family Systems Therapy. 

My past clinical experience includes working with adults at the Hume Center, a community mental health clinic, and with children and teens at Kaiser Permanente, Bayside Elementary School and STARS, a therapeutic summer day camp.  I specialize in working with adults, teens, and parents.  My clinical areas of focus include depression, anxiety, family and parenting issues, cultural differences and acculturation, surviving trauma, and living with chronic psychological challenges such as Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia.
